Day 358: Hangin' at the Hyperdome

We spent the afternoon at Tuggeranong doing some more last minute shopping. While Henry and I were waiting outside the $2 shop I took a couple of photos of him running around the lolly machine in the afternoon sun. He would run around for a couple of laps and then come over to see the pictures, then run back for a few laps before coming back to see more pictures. He's become fascinated with looking at photos of himself as soon as they're taken. It's a funny little habit that can make trying to take a portrait type photo of him challenging.

Day 346: No Photo Day...

I missed out on taking a photo today and nothing interesting happened either... pretty boring hey. On the plus side, I now have an crappy, low res image to use for the next time I forget to take a photo. With 20 days to go this may still come in handy.

Day 331: Petunia

Belinda grew this in a pot that sits out the back. I haven't taken any other photos today so this is it and there's really not much else to say about it apart from "it's nice isn't it?".

Day 305: Full Moon

After taking photos at night and having them turn out looking like it was daytime I decided to try getting a shot of the moon again, but this time I wanted it to look like the moon instead of the sun. It took a bit of trial and error but I finally managed to get a couple that gave some detail of the full moon.

I chose this one because of the silhouette of the trees off to the left of the moon, without that it'd just be a disc in the black.

Day 264: Meow

I made it home before Belinda and Henry this afternoon and decided to take a little photo shooting safari in the back yard. While I was wandering around the back yard I kept hearing strange little rustlings in the bushes, eventually Daisy emerged and in a rare show of cooperation she posed for me instead of bolting in the opposite direction. She was covered in cobwebs, some small leaf litter and quite a lot of loose fur but the pose was so much like the typical kids drawing of a cat that I had to use it.

Day 196: Photo Time

Belinda organised a photo shoot with Jenna and Henry today, they were at it for hours. I jumped in on the action as well so I could play with the manual settings on my Nikon. Unlike Belinda, my success was limited. Today's photo is one of the few of mine that were reasonably focused and didn't look grainy or underexposed.

I like trying to work out what Henry's thinking with that funny little look on his face, is it "god no, not another bloody photo.." or "when will this torture be over??" or maybe it's "I think I've just done poopoo in my pants...".
