We spent the afternoon looking at display homes and discovered that they almost all use water features in their landscaping. This is all well and good for prospective buyers without toddlers but for us it was a constant distraction. Henry has developed a fascination with water features and at times we had to physically remove him so we could go to the next house.
Henry was also surprisingly comfortable in the new surroundings of each house, he would run with Jenna from one room to the next, hide in enormous walk in wardrobes and shut us out of the bedrooms he fancied to be his.
It was a fun afternoon and we've now got our heads full of ideas about what we like and what we don't... all we need now is a massive lotto windfall and we'll be set.
