Belinda's on holidays and as usual she's written herself a huge list of things she'd like to get done before having to go back to school. Painting over the horrible mustard yellow feature wall in the spare room has been one of those things that has been on one list or another since we moved in here.
Today, Belinda made the most of my Mum visiting and put her to work. Together they started on painting the room and got most of the hard stuff done: 2 coats of undercoat over that horrible yellow wall and cutting in around edges of the rest of the room.
This is the room that Mum would have been sleeping in if it hadn't been getting painted so Mum has the pleasure of bunking down in Jenna's single bed tonight.
The best thing about all this is that it was done while I was at work, does home improvement get any better?
