Day 343: The Pots Post

Our new Pots and Pans arrived today and as you can see they're bright red. They're also incredibly well packaged so they take up as little space as possible, after they come out of this box they will never take up as little room again. This is a shame because the drawer we keep our pots in often has issues with both closing and opening, it's the opening issues that are most frustrating. If only there was a way to keep them in this compact manner that didn't make getting them out and putting them away a lengthy game of Tetris.

Day 229: More Kitchen Escapades

I've been on a bit of a roll with the cooking over the last few days. Tonight Belinda was off getting her hair done so I was on dinner duties again, Belinda suggested I used the mince we had in the fridge to make a cottage pie with the instructions of 'just make a savoury mince and put in some worcestershire sauce because that always tastes good in cottage pie'. I can't remember exactly what I put in there, or the quantities, so I doubt I'll ever be able to recreate this dish exactly which is a bit of a shame because I thought it tasted pretty good.

I was home sick today and because I slept until after lunch time I didn't really have the opportunity to take a photo, to I had to combine my kitchen escapades with my blog-ography (I just made that up, feel free to use it). I'll try to avoid having 3 entries in a row of antics in the kitchen again, sorry about that.

Day 132: May Task - Kitchen

Today's is a very literal interpretation of the subject. I'm blaming the lack of imagination in my photo today on being exhausted and wanting to go to bed.

I'm not a huge fan of our kitchen, it's quite small and becomes cluttered quickly. I am however a fan of the food that come out of our little kitchen when Belinda has been cooking up a storm.

At least our little kitchen is fairly modern, which is more than I can say for the kitchen in our old house... it was pink. Maybe our next house will have a bigger kitchen.
